Jet characteristics and optimal design of hydraulic perforating nozzles for natural gas hydrate reservoirs

چکیده
Jet nozzle is a core component of the hydraulic perforating fracturing tool, and design structure directly affects effectiveness efficiency. In this paper, flow field characteristics nozzles are calculated by SST k- ω turbulence model. The results show that parameters significantly influence jet performance. Through orthogonal experiments, conical-cylindrical geometric preliminarily optimized as follows: cylindrical segment diameter 6 mm, contraction angle 10°, length 8 12 mm. can provide theoretical guidance for later experimental research on rock breaking optimization tools.

Turbulent jet characteristics for axisymmetric and serrated nozzles
Turbulent jet large eddy simulations (LES) are performed at Mach 0.9 and Reynolds number around 10. Implicit large-eddy simulation (ILES) is employed, namely omitting explicit subgrid scale models. The Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) solution is blended into the near wall region. This makes an overall hybrid LES-RANS approach. A Hamilton-Jacobi equation is applied to remove the disparate...
متن کاملSensitivity Analysis of Parameters Governing the Recovery of Methane from Natural Gas Hydrate Reservoirs
Naturally occurring gas hydrates are regarded as an important future source of energy and considerable efforts are currently being invested to develop methods for an economically viable recovery of this resource. The recovery of natural gas from gas hydrate deposits has been studied by a number of researchers. Depressurization of the reservoir is seen as a favorable method because of its relati...

The Shear Mechanisms of Natural Fractures during the Hydraulic Stimulation of Shale Gas Reservoirs
The shearing of natural fractures is important in the permeability enhancement of shale gas reservoirs during hydraulic fracturing treatment. In this work, the shearing mechanisms of natural fractures are analyzed using a newly proposed numerical model based on the displacement discontinuities method. The fluid-rock coupling system of the model is carefully designed to calculate the shearing of...
متن کاملInvestigation of the Hydrate Formation Equilibrium Conditions of Natural Gas
One of the main problems in oil recovery via the gas injection is the formation of hydrates in thelines. In order to prevent the formation of hydrate in these lines, which leads to the blockage andsometimes explosion, at first, the equilibrium formation conditions must be determined and then toprevent its formation by changing the thermodynamic conditions or by adding the inhibitors. In thisres...
